Client: BIG Power Yoga Studio

Challenge:

Keeping volunteer studio staff up to date on procedures and best practices for cleaning and sanitizing once the studio re-opened during the pandemic. Additionally, they wanted the yoga student experience to be positive, efficient and welcoming, and for the teacher on duty to feel supported.

The studio also wanted to save money on printing, knowing that the document would be updated periodically as procedures changed.

Solution:

I consolidated and revised the existing procedure checklist into one that was more user friendly. By dividing the responsibilities by shift time, and some simple reformatting, I was able to create a document that was easier to read and implement. The feedback from staff was very positive. Initially, we decided to keep this document in Google Docs so that it would be simpler to update as class times and procedures changed as restrictions are lifted, but I more recently updated it to fit branding requirements. Additionally, we kept the design in grey scale instead of color to save on printing costs.
